Having most of those names in front of Pedrosa seems very unlikely. As does Simoncelli going third and Lorenzo going fifth. Pies is on his way up for sure, but provided the aliens stay healthy, I don't think that fourth will be in the cards for him this year. However, Stoner at the top is as good a guess as any.

Pedrosa is a crasher, like Carlos Checa and Alberto Puig (pedrosa's mentor) I have watch him speeding away in front and go to ground in the first third of the race, "if you want to finish first, first you have to finish!" And I can't see any development in his attitude, sorry , mate.

I wouldn't call Pedrosa a crasher. If anything, the guy at the top of your list could be called a crasher, although I believe that had more to do with rider/bike relations than Stoner's ability. Pedrosa does seem to get about one DNF per season, and yes, he's usually leading when it happens. In years past, that lump between his ears occasionaly got in the way, but I did see that changing last year and expect that it will carry over to the new season. He still managed a second place overall last year with a DNF and two injury related no starts. Simoncelli can finish all of the races in a season and not place in the top 5.

I would say , the Ducati is a difficult bike, I know, I ride one. But I stick to my statement: Simoncelli is coming, and strong , He has what it takes! He has a factorybike, aerodynamics adapted to his size, fast and furious! He could be the next Rossi. I have followed the MGP since the times with Hailwood, Read, Agostini and Ivy. The biggest talent into today's MGP is undoubtedly Spies, but I have no confidence in Yamaha after Rossi's and the sponsors exit. I do miss the times with Freddie Spencer, Wayne Gardner , Kevin Schwantz and King Kenny.

Honda has a good chance of dominating b/c of the size of Stoner's balls. Pedrosa's are not that big.
Ducati is too busy trying to design a bike that can race to the moon.
Yamaha is only tweeking the M1's ability to keep winning

Lorenzo has benefitted from Rossi and Burgess , they are history at Yamaha, where did you put Spies and the Kentucky Kid?

That benny ended half way into the first season, jorge proved his worth last season w/ no data from Burgess and Rossi.

This will be the season that tells how Pie Guy will do, as far as hayden - well he is not a good as most think he is.
Maybe when they go back to the 1000's Nicky can prove me wrong.

Agree that a healthy Stoner can run off and leave everyone. Also agree that Simoncelli is an up and comer, fearless. As of this writing with his health still iffy, I feel Vale may be entering the twilight of his career. Similar sponsor issues occured in 2007 I think it was with Yamaha, and they weathered that storm. I dont see where Lorenzo has lost anything. With the number of star riders capable of running at the front and the team jumping, testing early on takes on even more importance.

the duc that Stoner rode to the championship was a rocket, hope that the honda will be as well.
If the honda is not, well then Stoner will not be #1

In topspeed the Duc and RCV212 is equal both clock 340 on the same track the same day, it's about driveability, my money is on the guy from down under, with Vale very close behind, and I don't agree about Nicky , he is an excelent rider on bike which nobody , but Stoner , could ride!
Nicky was the last World Champ on Honda.

People seem to think that the 1000s are somehow going to be this return to the old days with everyone flat tracking the bikes around barely able to hang on. That will not be the case. Power to weight favors bikes somewhat under 1000cc anyways, and electronics are never going to go backwards. Remove the electronic rider aids from todays crop of 800s and they'd do the same rear tire shredding seen back in the day.

when Stoner won the championship the Duc was faster.
Nicky is a good rider, not great.
IMO if Edwards had a factory ride him and Nicky would battle it out for 6th - 10th

the 1000's will allow for more freedom over the 800's in riders style, you will see some more point and shoot riding once the 1000's come into play.
    you heard it hear first!

I can't help it ; I like the Texas Tornado, but as long as he doesn't get worksbike, he has no chance, I think you all will be suprised what Nicky can do, together with Rossi, he has teamed up Rossi for the second time, first time was good, maybe the second time will be even better?
