I have been trying to decide if i want to go ahead and order airtechs full fairing sides for one of my two interceptors and was wondering if anyone had pics of the 1st gens with full fairings on them.

Do they still sell the fairings? I looked briefly when I had my VF700F but I could not find any... I found a left side on ebay once.... There was a place called SPEC II who had them but by the time I found them I had been bitten by a "Need New Bike" bug and decided on my 6th Gen,,

There was a guy who converted his 1st gen 700 to a naked bike... I had bookmarked his page as a token of "Sinfull thing" that should never be done to such a beutifull bike...

His bike came with the full fairing and actually removed them Er well actually a bike crash removed them..... Shudder...

Looks like he had the airtech parts even...It was a good looking bike when it was fully covered up...But after seeing it im thinking im leaving one bike normal in apparance (my 85) and putting full fairings on the 83 then painting the bike to resemble a repsol replica.

Heck Jamie, I should ask if I can get a volume discount by buying the fairing and the shock adapter.
    ;-))

Come tax return time that is...

Here's mine, with a custom paint design I drew up back then and paint matched by a local body shop. Circa 1984 in Mansfield, Ohio. I sold it in '85. These were Lockharts. The CB750F in the pics was nearly identical to my first bike.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of the VF700 in the pic, I'd love to have it back...

Deja vue. I had a 79 CB750F like yours. Same color and all. I had a factory sport kit, Fox shocks and header. Great bike traveled all over on it. I have a set of Lockhart lowers and am thinking about selling. If anybody is interested let me know. For a reasonable price though.
