Anyone in the New Orleans area up for a ride this Sunday?

Hey all,

I was thinking of taking a ride around the New Orleans/Northshore area this Sunday. Right now, I'm planning on taking Highway 11 out to Slidell, 190 or one of the less-used roads to Mandeville, and from there riding the roads running around Abita Springs, there are a lot of great routes up there. Anyone up for it?

 

I would definitely be in. My riding buddy is heading out of town for the weekend with his wife and it is supposed to be RIDICULOUSLY nice this weekend. I live in Metairie right outside the city and drive an 07. I have been looking for some decent routes on the Northshore so it would be awesome to cruise around and see what you know...where would you want to meet up?

 

Not sure, I'm talking to one other guy in the separate thread I posted, but I don't know where he's located. I'm just off Carrollton Ave., in the Riverbend area, so maybe we could meet up near the I-10 interchange there, or somewhere in Metairie?

 

Wherever you want to meet up works for me. I gotta take my friend's dogs out in the mornings and he lives right off carrolton and earhart anyways. Might make for a cool pic if we started down there in the Carrolton area with all the trees, but it's up to you. Just let me know what you are thinking and we'll go from there...

 

I was thinking of leaving around noon or 1, if that would work. Have to see what works for the other guy on here as well, and there's the possibility of meeting up with someone I'd been talking to on Reddit in Slidell as well.

 

Thats fine with me. Lazy easy weekend for me...finally. Let me know when and where you want to meet up when you work it out with the others...

 

Looks like there might not be any others, so what do you say we meet at the Shell station at Carrollton and St. Charles?
