Every few years it snows in Phoenix. usually, in the Valley it is in the air but never seems to wet the ground. With any kind of elevation, it actually sticks for a very short time. In the 9 years I lived there it snowed twice.

    Global warming don't ya know.

RW, I have ridden that road on a Honda. Unfortunately it was an 86 Honda Civic. It was several years ago right after Christmas so I cannot comment muchly upon it.

I could be up for something like this.. I live in the FAR west side of the valley(339 ave and I-10) So if it's some where in the central Phoenix area I might be able to make it.

339 Ave? That is near the LA county line, right?

191 is not doable in the winter/spring on a bike.
We just did it 2 weeks ago and may get one more trip in before it gets too cold and buried at the top.
Much easier to go north than south on that road. 77 north from Tucson to Globe and then 60 to Show Low through the SRC is a great ride. 60 from Globe to Superior that time of year will most likely be snow bound at Top of the World in January.

    K. I'm in. I think your time frame of late Jan will work. Since I live about 4 blocks from your parents... There are a lot of places near here that would be fun. I think you can 'rent' a Harley if you're here. Oh, that would be fun. Just bring your yellow helmet.

All right Desert Dwellers. We are getting closer.
Looks like I'll be there from the 17-25. Unfortunately, my weekends are spoken for. How much of a tool would I be if I asked the out of towners to come on a weeknight?

A HUGE one... hey, you could always ask, but that doesn't mean any out of towners would show up!

Is that in December? If so, I could maybe swing it. I have two weeks off then.

Hey Drewl Can't make it for a week nite. Bit too far for me.

Oh. And BTW. You could never be considered a tool. I have a garage full of tools and they all serve some purpose.

That's what you get for telling everyone I put mayo in my beer.
