That is the whole point. You do not see the value in an 84 Mustang, I do not see the value in a Bandit TransAm. Each generation has their own generation of "classics". The 57 Chev was nothing to my father, not a classic at all. I think you will be surprised in about 15 years when the classic window moves.
I just cry every time a real Hemi Cuda /Challenger shows up, I had two growing up through Hi school, then add a 440-6 Cuda when I got married back in 76, makes me think Wow I had one of those. if only. My Hi school car
RVFR, I feel your pain. I was a Mopar guy in High School too. I picked up a charger for next to nothing and dropped in a built 440 (no 6-pack) and redid the whole drive train. Sold it to pay off some bills when I went in the military.
