I've been looking and looking for a good Bluetooth earbud setup but can't find anything? Has anyone had any luck in this department, I don't have the $ to get a specifically motorcycle made setup yet so any advice would be great.

Probably not the answer you seek, but I have tried MANY earbud and bluetooth setups and the only combo worth a damn is the Sena SMH-10 with the earbud bracket and the S-Plug earbuds.

I use standard bluetooth headset with speakers fitted into the helmet. As earbuds I use Alpine MotoSafe (Alpine Products - MotoSafe) which prevent the wind noise to come to the ear but allow the music and speech to come through. Earbuds also decreases tremble voices which in most helmet speaker are too loud to bring good balance to the music. I'm very happy with this combination.

I have got the Blinc M2 headset which also has FM radio, so I can use either the MP3 player of my phone or radio from headset and in addition in low speed (less than 55 mph) I can use the phone as well. Headset has two small flat speaker which fit nicely inside the helmet.

I would have to agree but I went the SMH10R route as the unit is smaller/tidier on the helmet. The earbud attachment is coming out in the next 30 days. Using the supplied helmet speakers for now. As soon as the earbud attachment is out I'm upgrading to Shure SE215's.

Have the Sena SMH-10 with the standard speakers installed in my RF1100 but only have Zumo 550 GPS for my MP3s so still using my Sony inear Earbuds cabled to Zumo 550 for music. Luckily works well with the Sonys inears taking out most wind noise and the SMH-10 standard Speakers loud enough to sound clear when using bike to bike comms or mobile phone.

Will be interested in this threads blue tooth earbud suggestions when my 550 is upgraded to a Zumo 660 which supports stereo Bluetooth.
