I am writing this as a wife of someone who trusted Jimssmoto with the restoration of his motorcycle. Jimss was given my husbands bike last June of 2009.. For total restoration. It was to be completed in 3 months. It has now been 10 months and still we do not have our bike back. In this time he has closed his shop in Dawsonville, no one can find him. He won't answer his emails so we are now without a bike which my husband had from day one of buying his bike. It is considered a vintage bike and now it is gone. Please be careful who you leave your bike with. It is now in the sheriffs hands. I just hope they find him and our bike.
Sorry to hear. Do you have a picture of the bike you can post? I'm in Canton and ride quite a bit so I can always be on the lookout.
Man Sorry to hear about that, I almost got ripped off by jimms moto too and even made a thread on it a while ago : http://vfrworld.com/forums/general-vfr-discussions/12731-jimss-moto-sucks.html FWIW if you go to the better business bureau website JIMMS has a F rating: BBB Review of JIMSS Moto in Dawsonville, GA
