So, I have a gen 8, but the levers are pretty universal, among all bikes really. When squeezing the front brake, I don't get brake light activation until about a half inch in. Typically that's fine, but I'm wanting to increase the sensitivity. The highway shenanigans in Phoenix get scary sometimes, and I occasionally want to blink it without slowing too much, in fear of getting rear-ended. I thought about angling the switch, but that would require cutting on the locator nub. What I am thinking is maybe just shave off .005-.01 from the face of the lever. Anyone ever done this, or have any better ideas?
Why not adjust the rear brake switch? While installing lowered pegs, I had to readjust switch, which can be far more sensitive.
