I thought I took all the pictures I needed when I removed the carb assy on my 97 vfr. Now that I'm reinstalling it after fixing a huge fuel leak I have a vacuum hose that comes out the rear but I can't see where it connects to or does it connect to anything? The parts diagrams on line just show the hose Part number 16199-MZ7-640.

I doubt it is vacuum. Likely it is the main vent line for the carb assy. Does it go down to a T fitting between the carbs?

This bike has had it's carbon cannister etc.. removed before I got the bike. It attaches to the T fitting between the carbs but what does the other end go to? I'm guessing it just hangs out there?

Just have the end secured so it points down.

On some bikes it goes into the sub filter box on the air filter housing, but on that one...let it hang...so to speak. Cap knows his shit.
