Carrying a laptop on a 6th Gen?

    Thanks. I just used some 1/2" round rod and some 2" X 1/8" flat bar. It took a while to get the bends just right, and a little TIG welding. I also made 4 bushings in a lathe to fit the holes in the grab handles, and 4 longer bolts. That way I didn't have to alter the bike in any way. Just remove the 4 bolts, install the stock bolts and it's back like stock if you want to ride without it. I painted it with flat black grill paint. It came out the exact color as the frame. :biggrin:

    Thanks to all for your replies. I won a genuine topbox (trunk) and rack on ebay last night, so that'd take care of the laptop carrying.
