^^^^ Knowing Honda, I wouldnt doubt that the mirrors are the exact same mirrors as the CBR. --- Honda tries to design one part style,
order a bazillion of them and then use on multiple bikes for a lot of model years.

I may have found something that may work with the gsx-r mirrors. Not my first choice, but so far it's my only option. MOFO, I need your help to verify the threaded post is 8mm?

Here's what I got a line on. New. 40mm is distance from center hole to center hole.

The thread for mounting mirror arm is 8mm. Bases only, no mirror arm, glass, etc.

    Thoughts?

Someone over at VFRD said they used GSXR mirrors on VFR stalks.

    http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/topic/76735-gsxr-mirror-mod/?p=925189

I asked him for the thread that he detailed it in, I'll post that link when I see them.

    Tink, a couple of questions:
Those are the chinese ones from ebay, right?
    Are they really bright enough?
    Do they shake badly?
Is there no way to run the wires inside the stalk?
Are they short? Can I use my mirror extenders with them?
    Where do babies come from?
    Why is the sky blue?
    Is Santa real?

Feel like an interrogation yet?! :glee:

    Yes the Chinese models.
Don't vibrate any more than stock IMO
    Very bright LEDs
Could tidy up the wires more if you wanted but not in the stalk.

It's like $45 bucks to try them out. Why are you still talking about this? :)

Subscribed. I hate the cheap-cheaps that are on my new bike, after only a few rides. They vibrate any time the engine is running, and need re-adjustment every few seconds while riding. Completely worthless! Think I'm gonna go to the bike shop tomorrow and scope out some possible replacements.

Ooh! I like those. Is the bolt distance of 40mm correct for your bike?

Prefer the ones i linked to be honest, i've tried similar mirrors to your link on another bike and found them to be very cheaply made

That's the same thing I keep hearing too. However Tink said that he has them and they were fine. That being said, I still like the most recent ones posted better.

While I was browsing around, I also found that Aprilla mirrors will fit my bike. But they cost about $200!
