    Much appreciated! Thank you.

Nice to see that both Honda and Yamaha have the same manufacturing standard.

I'm working on dialing in all the parts for the conversion.

If I could ask, what year VFR clip-ons did you end up using? I'll need to find something with about a 3" rise.

So what spring rate have y'all used and like when converting to either the F2 or YZF front ends? The F2 is close to the OE VF500F spring rate of .610, a little stiffer. The YZF is .810, real close to what RaceTech recommends for street use on a VF500F.

I haven't measured the rake on my VF500 but it looks HUGE compared to modern sportbikes. Anybody measure it? Did Honda jump the shark and have to do this to clear the engine and radiator after the fact?

I don't have an answer yet on the spring rate for the YZF forks.

Here is the intel I have regarding the stock rake and trail:

Has anyone ever used 94-97 VFR forks? Just curious.

If I could ask, what is the overall length on these?

I measure 32" from top of the tube to the very bottom of leg. This measurement is with forks off the bike.

    Interesting...

32" is about 813mm. Would you mind taking the measurement from the top of the tube to the centerline of the axle?

On a side note, these have 41mm fork tubes, correct?

    Thanks for the post rc.

Right, then. These are about 784mm in length, give or take a mm.

Similar issue as the F2/F3 forks in that these are a bit short for fitment on the VF500F, IMO.
