"Half a league, half a league, half a league onward, All in the valley of Death rode the six hundred" Now I like 600cc bikes to look at, they are so sporty, like expensive jogging shorts, or lycra body warmers, but I want a bit of torque, or talk sometimes, everyone I know ignores me and lock up there dogs, a bit of power down low in the Rev dept. I don't think Alfred Lord Tennyson had this in mind when he wrote about the 600 in his epic poem, but then, he was before my time by a smidgin. I'm content with my vfr1200; it satisfies my needs, like a nice malt whisky on a summer's day in the antarctic, talking sagely to the diminishing Penguine population on the benefits of radials over crossplys, or the V Strom over the Afric Twin. More whisky please.
