    I have an engine that I removed from my VFR a few years ago because one of the spark plugs wallered out the socket and you couldn't screw it in. It was cheaper to pick up a lower mile engine for a 5th gen than to pay a dealer to put in a heli-coil.
    Long recalls that I have said enging but is unfamiliar with the term spare therefore he uses the term death because in his mind he engine sitting there must be dead since it's not in a motorcycle.
