I think I am going to stick with the Miata , top up, top down, AC music for spousal excursions...Ha, put the white cover on in place of rear seat and say I lost the seat...call it a day.

The most under-estimated car on the road. They're a blast on the Dragon. I got one after I got rid of my piece of junk, but fast, Z06 and it would outrun the Z06 any day on a very tight road like Deal's Gap at a fraction the price.

The Givi PLX system has a quick-release system now to remove most of the rack - for the 6th gen anyways.

Spyder over miata every time. Miata has the engine in the wrong place.

Not getting it, why would I want a spy der to replace and MX-5 if I have a bike also? A Spyder doesn't look like nearly as much fun as a VFR. And sometimes I think twice about putting my wife on the back of my bike here in the NY metro area where everyone is on their phone, because she has three children prior to us and her first husband perished on 9/11....I need to take extra special care of her.

With the price of oil and filters going up, all the dudes with those bigass bags that never come off their bikes , with a little creativity could sell ad space for Amsoil or Walmart to defray operating costs. A bunch already do it for free with a shitload of stickers of stuff that they don't have on the bikes sometimes anyway.

I had a Corbin on my '03 VFR and liked it. Thinking about getting another for my 8th gen.

    Hi,
I went ahead and ordered a Corbin for my 1993 VFR. After 23 years with the stock seat, wanted to try something new.
I realize I could get the stock seat re-covered, but just felt like doing something crazy!
Does it really take them 8 weeks to deliver, like the invoice says?

I get the Corbin or Sargent seat conversion, boy do they weigh more. Yet the stock works better for me, giving me more flexibility to move around. The Corbin I have is nice and all, but more for the passenger. My take is it makes my butt stick to just about one spot, which could be a good thing if I was to want to stay put in one spot for a while, but my ADD wants me to be a bit more squirrelly .

A friend that I used to ride track with gave up motorcycles. A few years later he bought a Miata. I ask him what the F was that about. After he put the new shocks, springs and tires on it, and a little motor work, he took it to the track Road course and wow! That little thing sticks to the road and corners like you wouldn't believe. He would pass people on the brakes and in corners that had much much faster cars. Very cheap cage racing.

I've got nothing but bad things to say for Corbin. Not a good seat, and even a worse company.

YES it does, (If not longer!) and you better hope everything is right with the seat. They sent me the wrong seat the first time, made me pay return shipping then it took 6 weeks to get the new one. The whole time they never answered my e-mails and even hung up on me. Forget that company. Go with saddleman or sergeant if it's not too late!
