I know there are a few of Dani haters out there but he has to be one of the most even keeled and friendliest riders on the paddock. I think he is going to missed by a lot of fans and riders alike.

Regardless of how you may feel about him, he epitomizes tenacity and dedication. Everything he's been through and he always fought. He never let go of pushing.

Sucks about the injuries but it's nice that he's still young and, I'm assuming, well-off! ;) He's still got plenty of time for other hobbies or even another career if he wants...

When I heard Nicky forgave him for that incident, I figured I could do the same.
Still not a fan, but it is too bad he leaves without a championship in Mototgp.

Pedrobots goin to be missed, always top runner and always like watching his style of riding.
What he’s 33, I’m sure he has no money worries and he walks away healthy.
    Sad not one championship .

Yeah being able to walk away relatively healthy is always a good thing in racing or any sport for that matter - I wish him well.

LOL - I won the ping pong championship on a cruise ship when I was 14, does that count for anything? :D

Back when the world was still black and white and the ships were made of wood...
