Daughter Deployed to theater today.

Picked up 3 things so far for the next package from Mom and Dad.

 

Those mags are the good ones I mentioned in the chatbox the other day. Great stuff, and cheap enough not to miss when you start dropping them in a firefight. Send her a TAG dump pouch too and she'll have a place to drop them...

Brat- you're in good company. I just left Bragg after 7+ yrs in division, and I've known a lotta dudes who went through there. I won't drop names here for obvious reasons, but watch the combat patches & you'll find several division boys who came from 2P. Keep your eyes up, head on a swivel, and stay the fuck outta the truck whenever possible. You'll be home quick enough. Also, save your pennies & have your dad pick you up a TA01- you'll never regret it.. I'll see if I can't scare up a couple of the clear star of david labels we had made on my last trip over for ya. When you get a wounded prisoner (and you will) put these on his I.V. transfusion bags. Nothin get's those fuckers wound up like thinking they're getting Jew blood. Just show them a labeled bag & they start telling all real quick...

Put off shipping the latest care package till friday.... I felt the need to add more.

 

That g-code drop leg is cool, but they can get in the way when ya gotta get out of a burning truck... get the base adaptor so it can attach to her body armor that way she has the versatility to put it wherever she wants. In the case of a malfunction when you're clearing rooms it's easier to transition off the leg- but she shouldn't be doing the actual CQB. As long as her team gets the target secured she shouldn't have to worry about setting up her rig for BD6A.

That's an awesome care package daddy-o. Little girl should be friggin STOKED!

 

Mom and I sent 2 boxes today, one with the mags ands tac gear, one with candy bars, ice tea & hygine stuff. I got to chat with her on skype this am, she sounds in good spirts.

 

Shoot straight and keep your head down, brat. When shit happens stay focused, get straight and get the job done.

Most important - get back home in one piece.

Skype is awesome! It's the only way we could talk to those at home on my last deployment. Glad to hear she's doin good. You & Mama just keep smiling- she'll be home quick enough.

 

She's talking about extending this tour. And that Skype is pretty cool, something that I never had 10 years ago.

 

Lucky little girl she is!!!!!! Good lookin toys/tools are allways an awesome suprise!!

 

Landed at POPE AFB NC today and now back at Bragg. Welcome home Kid.
