Engine over filled with oil danger and concern! By the Dealer!

    I'd have been more concerned if they had underfilled it by a pint than overfilled... that's free oil....:)

    With the rates shops are charging for mechanic's time, they'd better get it right. I can't stand it when you take a vehicle in and have it come back worse than when you dropped it off. I don't give a crap about karma either. I go to the General Manager and express my displeasure, and see if they can/will do something to correct the situation. Car dealers don't want a bad survey review, but smaller bike shops may or may not care.

    A little above the fill lines hasn't hurt 3 VFR's I've owned so far. It happens. Just ride the bike and do your own changes from now on. You probably don't really know what kind of oil they put in it either. Doesn't mean they used what you gave them. Motorcycle mechanics in dealers are scary.
