Mine has a few times and it doesn't really bother me. She used to have a 750 Katana so she had no problem at all.

Mine wishes to learn to ride. One day she will have her MSF course completed and after that - she'll have her own back. After a bit of experience she'll be allowed. She actually does not wish to even try until then. Kudos to her I say.

I'm trying to figure out why it took me ~10 minutes to type this short reply out.

Could be the hat, tmyoung. :)

No, my wife has no desire to go anywhere near my bike. She hates it, and won't even sit on it in while its parked, on the center stand, in the garage.

The only bike that she really likes and wants me to get is a Goldwing. I did manage to get her to sit on one of those, and she liked it.

jeVFr - if that's your wife in your avatar, I guess I'd let her do whatever she wants too.

I wish I could get my wife to ride 2-UP! My youngest daughter though would love to take the VFR and go! Maybe in a few years, she's only 10 now!

Every time I let my hubby ride one of mine, he comes back and tells me there is something wrong with it. I quit letting him ride them!!

My plan is to ocassionally drive her cars which, in turn, scares the crap out of her. Mostly she leaves my bikes alone (which allows me to have and enjoy many) although she does like the dirtbikes. She has nice cars, cars, in general, bore me and cause me to drive like those you terrify all of us on two wheels...my equalibrium is in perfect harmony!

I am not married, but I will answer anyway.

My girlfriend was not interested in bikes at all until she met me. Then I had her sit on the '98 VFR. She that it was kinda cool and told me she might need a nudge to get her to go for a ride on it.

The next time she came over she was dressed for riding. We went for a nice tour on the back roads, nothing scary but a little brisk here and there. We had the signals figured out before hand, "Punch me in the back of the head, twice... so I know you mean it, and we will pull over and have a talk".

That was nearly three months ago. Since that time she has ridden 2up with me for up to 8+ hours a day and loved every minute of it. In July we went to Talladega GP for a track day and she rode 2up with me on the last sessions of both days. We hit about 105 mph in the straights on the VFR.

This past weekend we went to Nashville Superspeedway. I took the CBR954RR and we went about 140 on the straights. I was in intermediate and we were passing the Novices (2up ride with the Novice class). She loved it!

The beginning of next month we are taking the MFS course together along with her 21 year old son.

Yes, she rocks. Yes, I would let her ride either of my bikes after she has her endorsement and has had some seat time with the Ninja 500 we are getting for her.

Whenever she wants to, usually she takes her own VFR. At least one positive thing to have two VFR's in the same garage
