I removed the baffle and it's friggin loud, but not smooth sounding like the clip and not the same tone. It sounds more like the D&D clip to me. It sounds good though. I guess just different than what I expected. Maybe it's just my bike. Does the year have anything to do with it? The newer 5th gen models have the catalytic converter which could attribute to a different tone. I'm not sure.

Any Exhaust will cure in as you use it.. It might sound like crap now but in 500-2000 miles it might cure in and be just what you wanted.. The packing (if any) and material need to be broke in just like a new bike. The longer you ride it the better it gets..

Yeah it's sounding better already. Yippeeee!!! I have a video of it but I don't know how to link it and I seem to have a hard time getting my videos to work from this site. I think that it doesn't like the size or format or something. I'd like to post it though...

An alternative to here would be to put it on photbucket or putfile or someplace like that and post the link. But it should accept the following video file types:
    mpeg,mpg,avi,asf,wmv,mov,wav

Thanks for the tip on the site! Here's a clip a took of mine. It sounds a bit different now since the pipe is getting broke and getting it's tone but this is what it sounded like when it was new. Turn up your bass and volume!

I'm working on getting some acceptable clips of my Remus system on my 06. So far, I get a ton of wind noise, so I'm looking for good places to mount my lil camera (with sound capture.) Rest assured, I'll make sure to get a few good clips recorded, because this thing sounds just plain evil.

    Edited to add -

I made a video clip of the exhaust at idle/warmup and short revs.

    Exhaust clip/video/dyno

Been looking at all the clips and videos. Lot of cool ones out there. So thought I'd throw mine out there. Pipe is TwoBrothers cut in half after the second crash broke the rivets through the carbon fiber. All the baffles are still in there. Also got some dyno specs with it. Everyone keep up the cool posts. Moderator or anyone with access to this feel free to copy/and or move this post to any other threads that might benefit from it.

Pretty cool. I also added the link to the list in the first post. Hopefully the vid wont' get lost or deleted. It actually doesn't sound too bad, either. Thanks eddie. :thumb:

Sorry no, I tried it once more today on 2 computers with no problem. It's a great clip (best I've heard on a VTEC), do solve the problem to view it!

Here's another vid/sound clip to be added to this thread.
This is the sound before, during, and after, partially gutting the stock mufflers.

Tori great clip! I'm impressed by the sound without muffler/pipe, not bad at all once above idle! Thanks.

What About the laser Exhaust? Does anyone have a sound for it? I am looking for one from an actual VFR and not the digital generic one on the laser exhaust website....
