I was amazed how few beaches there were... Only a handful along the whole chain. I used to live in Seattle, I know what you mean...

Not much difference between Seattle and Chilliwack except we get a few more inches of rain annually.

The next day we are off to swim with sharks!! We have a snorkel tour from Bahia Honda SP to head to Looe Key. I asked Cap't Jack, yes that's his name, "Are we are going to see sharks. We just drove 4,000 miles to see some!" He said "Sure will matey now get on board!" "Aye Aye Cap'n!!"

We carried our freediving fins almost 4,000 miles and we are ready to use them! I know we could've rented fins there but it was a symbol of our journey. Something that reminded us each day what we are doing this for. We have been freediving for years and wanted to be able to dive down with the reef creatures. 20160424-IMG_1036.jpg 20160424-IMG_1040.jpg 20160424-IMG_1044.jpg

I don't think the morning snorkeling boat made it. The sharks must be big!! 20160424-IMG_1051.jpg

Here we are finally in the water. The reef is about 35 to 40 feet deep here. These are screen grabs from our GoPros so quality is low but fun was HIGH!! Check out the video on page one for a bit more. 20160915-vlcsnap-2016-09-15-09h23m57s569.jpg 20160915-vlcsnap-2016-09-15-09h24m07s245.jpg 20160915-vlcsnap-2016-09-15-09h24m18s471.jpg 20160915-vlcsnap-2016-09-15-09h24m50s518.jpg 20160915-vlcsnap-2016-09-15-09h25m49s204.jpg 20160915-vlcsnap-2016-09-15-09h26m04s939.jpg

Nice! I have dove that reef for many decades. One of my favorite.
