I have always admired these bikes and now I finally got one for my own. I hope that I can keep the shiny side up, because it is really shiny. I live on the jersey shore, and have been riding since 1987. My other bike which I have kept since the beginning is an 82 Kawi gpz550 which I also love and intend to keep. If there is anyone in my area who wants to ride please give me a shout, Keith
Hello keith, I too had a Kawi but a 84 gpz550 that was a long time ago ..... well congrads and stick around a while , and your bike look very nice what a 89 ?
Super looking bike. Welcome aboard. My dad grew up in Atlantic Highlands near Red Bank, I spent alot of summers at Stone Harbor. There are one or two guys here from NJ.
Thanks for the replies speed and drew, I cant wait to start racking up some miles. Hoping for a long ride tomorrow. I am going t try to make it up to Americade in Lake George on the 5th 6th and 7th of June if anyone is going. Keith
My 92 came with a Two Brother's racing exhaust. Nice sound, not too loud so it won't annoy the neighbors, but works well. Oh, and I'm Keith as well. Good to meet ya.
hi and welcome to the forum. i was interested to read about your 82 GPz 550. ive spent alot of time riding and repairing the 2 ive owned in the past. how about posting some pix of this beauty as well. the H model was a beauty!
