There are two Flat 4 Tours this year. One June 22-23 and August 18-19.

The June trip goes from about Elgin, IL to Osseo, WI. The August trip goes to Winona, MN. I will be on the August trip.

The site is a bit outdated, but you get the idea.

I'm taking the aprilia most likely. I can not rail the VFR as well as the RSV. Plus, believe it or not, I am more comfortable on the RSV for long rides. The VFR is too upright seating for me, and it hurts my back and neck if I ride it more than a couple hours. Although I noticed that other kid has the exact same 93 VFR as me, is going too, so I was debating the VFR. I want to drag race him. hahaha

What route are you guys taking for the Osseo destination, just curious. The run from Galena, IL to Lacrosse or even Alma or Black River, WI is a very good one.

    :help:

I'm interested in participating, but I didn't get a lot from the links. I'm going to do some more looking at home (I was in class at work the first time). I would be interested in finding out more about the route to see if there is a good hook up point or ride the whole ride.

    Any more info would help.

This year it seem that people are spliting up into various groups, depending on riding style, and location. Different groups may take other routes. I haven't decided if I want to lead a moderately quick pace group or butt in with jroc's group. If I decide to lead, it should be known that I will plan a route according to an atlas map, which has sent me along gravel roads before.
