    "Trumpery" I love that. It deserves quotes. No snowmobiles this year, recovering from an ice storm. No power for 3 days.....but of course we have back up generators in our igloos.

    When I spent most of my days in Seattle enjoying the occasional snowstorm and the day off, I could see from my front window folks going to work driving ATVs. One of those times when the cops just look the other way.

    I hope for your sake the backup generators are Hondas...Some of the members here are fussy aboot things like that..;)

    Only those who live in igloos and are willing to admit it. I am also looking for some really great recipes for whale blubber.

    I do spend more time than I should on the other side of the road... but I'm also only 5'6 & 140Ib's.

    Generally try to maintain a reasonable high average & not drive like Miss Daisy..

    I don't thrash the nuts off it unnecessarily but I don't hang about either, and I get...

    Highest mileage between refills 232 miles,
    Highest mileage to flashing last bar 223 miles, lowest 180 miles, average 198 miles
    Highest mpg on a tankful 59.86, lowest 47.07, average 53.49
    Highest mileage after flashing bar was 30, didn't want to run dry just to see how far it would go!

    Those are Imperial gallons not US despite what it says on Fuelly.com http://www.fuelly.com/motorcycle/honda/vfr800_interceptor/2014/fatshoutybloke/323418;
    Spritmonitor.de https://www.spritmonitor.de/en/detail/662235.html takes it in litres and it works out the same. Make of that lot what you like.

    The conversion from one distance measure to another and one liquid measure from another can screw up even simple arithmetic.

    Examples: In track and field, 1500 meters is called "The Metric Mile". An Imperial gallon in Canada is hell of a lot more than a US gallon.

    The argument in track a field is if Usain Bolt sprints 100 meters in X seconds, How fast is he running 100 yards? Oddly the high jump,pole vault and shot put are still as of late still measured in feet and inches.

    According to some we should make time metric.. Then we'd have robots cranking oot Rock and Roll.

    At an elevation of 4300ft above sea level in Salt lake City. I get around 43mpg. That's riding almost never in 6th gear. My rides go to an average of 6,000 ft or more in the canyons in Utah. Average of 240 miles on a 5.6 tank. Does motor oil take affect as well? I use pure synthetic? Also do you have the Deluxe with the center stand and quick shifter. That adds weight and I am sure would add to the MPG. P.S. like some have said that your own weight. I weigh 230lbs (not proud) and I am 5'9" center stand added and have soft bags.
