    If you scoot through to pages 48/49 you will see that all the post 2001+ VFR800 models are fitted with a YTZ12S battery - so that is what your bike needs.

    Whilst Yuasa are the OEM battery supplier for Honda I am sure there are cheaper supermarket "own brands" which will probably work OK - for a while.
