Hi all. In the market for a new old stock 2014 or 2015 VFR 800 so came here to poke around. First ever bike was a new 1987 VFR 700 with the gear driven cams. Almost the same price as they are selling these leftovet’s for! Currently riding a Ducati Hypermotard 939SP but thought about adding the VFR to spice it up.

The deals are out there, the VFR just isn’t selling that well, too many other bikes that are hot on the market. If I recall, the last time I was at Chaparral out in San Bernardino, they had one on the sales floor. BTW, Welcome to the World!

Hi and welcome to the MadHouse:Welcome:

I see you have already spotted the following recent thread :

As OOTV says the deals are out there. Especially if you do have ready funds and are not looking at trade ins or finance, I would consider calling around dealers in SoCal to see if they can come up with something similar. You might also want to check with bigger outlets in neighbouring states like Ridenow Powersports to see if they still have an 8th Gen in their inventory which might make a trip to Phoenix well worthwhile. However if you decide to buy or ship in an unregistered out of state VFR you should check what the rules and costs are to register the bike in California.

Let us know how you get on and have fun ATGATT
