I was doing my near daily Ebay scan last week & noticed a 86/87 VFR that had the whole front end(trees, forks, bars, wheel, brakes etc ) off of a GSXR 600 on it. Not sure of the donor bikes year but they where inverted SHOWA forks. Has any one heard of this being done or of it being a good idea? Also on the subject of gen 2 suspension mods is a VFR 800 shock a direct upgrade unit for the 2nd gen bikes. The information I have found has been somewhat inconclusive; I also found tail risers listed on ebay for second gens on ebay out of the UK, any opinions on those out there?? After putting about 3500 miles on over the last month & a half(mostly commuting, about 1000 of fun) , I'm really beginning to dislike my current suspension; espescially on the interstate.
