Looking to replace toasty connectors on battery harness. These come from the 30 amp fuse near the battery.
Can anyone tell me the wire size or the connector type/model for the battery harness connectors shown in these pictures and a good place to order some quality connectors to replace them with?

I would prolly upgrade that to a modern sealed connector.

Thanks for all the great information. Still deciding between connector based or direct soldering of the two wires. Another option is putting in a new inline fuse holder and eliminate the connector in the process. The RR and stator test fine so do not want to go the Mosfet route without needing to.

Now a question about the RR and stator connectors that are near the RR itself and are in good condition, I would like to remove the terminals to better clean them. Does anyone know the process to safely remove them?

OK, another question. This is the bonus round. I am going to install a voltage meter, specifically this one, which can be turned off.

I am looking to install at the left side upper cowl where part # 7 goes as shown in attachment.
My question is to drill the 2 inch hole in the plastic part, is it better to use a hole saw or a step drill bit?
Same issue one would have if installing sliders.

Did you drill it yet? What did you use, and were you satisfied? I used a holesaw but a step bit may have been nicer. I think if I owned one, I'd have tried it first. Just a guess since I don't have a step bit...

I used a step bit and it came out very clean. Good thing about it is you can drill, stop and check until you have a perfect fit. My meter fit nice and tight.

This is what the meter looks like.
It is on the left (clutch) side inside panel as shown in an earlier post on this thread.
Easily seen when riding, wheels are turned to left in these pictures so slightly obstructed by the grip.
I put a rubber washer to seal it and protect the wires underneath.
What I like is you can turn it off when you park.
