the new aluminium radiator and hoses have arrived. I will have to wait for the water pump gasket to come in and the water pump cover to come back form the powder coater before installing. Really happy with the red hoses. Cant wait to get it all fitted on the bike.

has anyone put a set of inverted forks on a RC36.1? there is a bit of information on what fits with some modifications. Looking for a straight change over and keeping the original front wheel if possible. Do the RC51 forks bolt straight on and how are they for length?

I was considering the same when I started my build (1994 with 2004 RR plastics) and I decided to upgrade the fork internals and shock. There's a guy (Jamie Daugherty) that will build you a set of very capable suspension components for the gen3 and 4. To add, a friend came up with a set of Brembo radial calipers. I fabbed some aluminum hangers and added a radial master and braided lines. Between the suspension and the brakes, the bike is totally transformed. It rides and handles better than my '16 1000R.

A quick question, does anyone know if a RC36-2 triple tree will fit a RC36-1??? They have different part numbers. the part number for the RC36-1 is 53300-MT4-000 and the RC36-2 is 53300-MZ7-000. They do look the same?
