Sound clip of the bike running

I took this with the video capture on my Digital Camera, so the sound is not great. The sound is deaper in person and not so metallic sounding and annoying... the mic really picks up the high sounds. But it gives you an idea. BEWARE the sound is pretty loud on this clip. so you might want to turn down the volume before playing the clip... also.. if it seems like I was rushing.. I WAS, my camera will only take 1 min of video.

    Enjoy.

sounds pretty good to me. I think mine may be louder, but doesn't sound as good. there is an odd rattle to mine. I should try and record it for you guys that are more mechanically inclined. It's possible someone might be able to recognize if the cam chain tensioner is broken by the sound. I can tell something is wrong but don't know what and don't have a good place to take the bike apart yet...

I love the F1R pipes they sound great. once I pull the bike out from storage I will get a clip. I've seen bikes with the same brand of pipes as mine but not the same style.

Has anyone tried this Black Velvet stuff?
    http://www.por15.com/s.nl/it.A/id.1462/.f

It's not cheap, but my dad might be needing some anyway for his car, and I figure that little collector won't take much paint.

I know POR-15 is pretty reputable, but have any of you guys used it?

I had a '85 VFR500 that I put over 250 thousnd miles on it & when I sold it it still ran new.
Every time I took it in for service it "NEVER" needed it's valves worked on. My secrete was I changed the oil every 2 weeks or 2000 miles(I commuted 910 miles per week plus I used it as a track bike @ willowsprings).
I sold it 16 years ago & i know the guy that still owns it & it's still running great (310,000 miles).

if I find another one, I'm going to snag it up for a play bike!
