High Mileage 5th Gen VFR

I wouldn't be surprised, but maybe he did a lot of commuting with little to no in town stop-an-go.
But I think I would figure it into the budget, just to be safe.

 

Yes, bike has been used for commuting and always used T6 -5W40 in it.

Will ask more about OCI and valve adjustments today.

 

Bought that puppy today.

As per owner, he never adjusted valves and have always changed oil in 4K-5K with Rotella Synthetic 5W40. He rode all year long too.

Have a few things to sort out on it and will be posting those in the coming days...

I'll be slowly working on it to iron out few small issues which I noticed on my ride back home.

 

It came with PR4's on the front and back with a lot of tread.

Quite a few other good things, of course with some issues here and there too

 

Tires not too old? Check the code on the sides.

Tires are from 15 and 16, I didn't notice any smoke of any kind.

Although, I did notice a small hole in the exhaust and water(exhaust gases) coming out of it, maybe a weep hole for muffler?

 

Yes the small hole at the front bottom edge of the muffler is for water (condensation) drainage.
