honda paint colors

I'm going to fix some of the plastics and repaint my bike sometime real soon. I like the stock rwb but I want loud. Does Honda make a bright green or would I be chopped at the nuts for copying Kawasaki? I have been toying with the idea of the neon green or a .... I dunno how to describe it..... like a neon sky blue. I can't find any info on Honda paint codes so I'm guessing either way I go will be something that Honda didn't have. My question (finally) is does anyone know if Honda makes a color close to what i tried to describe? It would be cool to keep it all Honda

Awhile back forum member Gwcrim painted his 5th gen. up in Lime Green. I don't believe this was a factory Honda color though.

Technically, the 1995 CBR 600/900 Purple/White/Yellow was actually green. Neon-ish. Look around for that color.

When I first noticed this thread I was going to say something like, "Hopefully, Stoshmonster will be along soon to answer your question as he is definitely the site guru when it comes to paint codes and color," but GEEEEEEEZ man. If I ever need a paint code, I think I know who to call. Incidentally, of all the colors you have on your bike, are any of the shades NOT Honda paint colors??

I used to ride with a guy who painted his VFR750 the same color green (or at least very close) as the 2009 Kawasaki ZX12 (kind of a pearl green) and man did it look just awesome. Wish I had taken a picture of it because the color was just incredible, especially in the evening sun.

 

Didn't the UK have factory green 5th gens? IIRC it was a darker british racing green color.
A purple neon green/yellow smokin' joes scheme would make some people scratch their heads.

 

I recall at least one guy on the U.K. forum had a dark green 5th Gen. Don't know if any made it to Australia.
