Caught the latest round of the World Superbikes racing at Silverstone on Fox Sports. One of the contenders for the 2007 crown - James Toseland- went down on the second lap. He rides a CBR1000RR.

He gets up, runs to the bike and keeps on racing. Trouble was the water pipe to the radiator is completely detached from the radiator - you can see it through the side of the fairing!

Both commentators are saying "that bikes not going to last much longer"!
The bike had other ideas. Granted it was cold and pi&*ing down rain, it just kept going to the point where Toseland finished the race (full 28 laps or about 100km) in about 8th spot!

Went outside and gave the viffer a pat on the tank in appreciation.....!

    Cheers,
