I don't think the VFR is a long distance bike

I stand corrected after a little research. But it sure does make me pee, so for long rides I don’t drink any. One thing about tea that I’ve read and it seems to work for me. If you drink it ona hot day, initially it will make you feel hot, but then you will start
    to feel cooler.

My trainer is a kinesiologist and I'm not a kid any longer. I started working with her for the same reasons....injuries of old that were causing more pain than I could deal with any longer. The pain has nearly gone away, my VFRing is much easier, and if I had the desire, there's no doubt I could do more distance. Between that, a healthy diet, and all the time good hydration, I feel better, function better and my doctor gave me a glowing review of a physical exam recently and said keep it all up. Life has countless choices. I also eliminated sugar from my diet, FWIW, and now it's become repulsive to me.
