I still haven't seen what the problem was or how it was sorted.

I see a bunch of suggestions not never Bubba saying it was good?

He hasn't sorted it yet because the ballast went on the garage lights. Watch this space.

Well, OK. Hubba. But you gotta admit, the market for assless chaps is about as small as that for the Daisy Duke shorts.
I mean, the market of people it works for. If your legs are hairy and your balls are falling out,
    IT DOESN'T WORK! :p

Tanner, I more than likely did something to the wires to the starter switch on the right bar when I was moving them. I have the largest bar risers and may have crimped, torn or shorted out the fuse when I did this. I was not overly heavy on moving them, but being suspect that the situation was immediately afterward. If I get a day off other than Sunday it is Monday and the the dealers are closed. So I am going to look at it tomorrow taking a vacation day. I did not have any lighting in my garage and working long hours I could not tackle it late at night.

And the winner of Bubba's weekly VFR struggles is :Pop2:........... FINK! :Bravo:Yeah! blown fuse. BUT, why did the fuse fail? Nothing I can see should have caused it but I know shit about electrical stuff. Really thinking about dumping it. Went to the dealer and they seemed unconcerned about both the cap and the fuse.

I did leave the Bike at the Dealer for a shake down. I ordered a full electrical system test top to bottom, A full flush and reload of motorcycle coolant and a Honda factory radiator cap. Why? Because, I know the head tech and trust him. Yes, it is going to cost me, and most of you do it yourself. But, It will give me a piece of mind going forward. I owe $7,045 on the bike and bought a set of T30 evos waiting to be put on. Given that, I needed some professional to let me be calm about selling. $230 vs. around $800 in tires bought and the lose on the value of the bike given what they go for with 5,000+ miles as well as the cost of add-ons (Bar risers, pipe, center stand and VFR sliders).

Dumping it meaning "Selling" But, as you put it. State Farm will give me 9200 for the bike totaled. And that would be insurance fraud and I would never do that! Also with my luck I would assume some huge medical bills trying. :) I hate people that scam Insurance!
