Found this on craigslist. The guy wanted $4195. I asked if he would take $3800, which is probably a tad high. I have the cash and I want it so... yeah.

The first pic is one that shows some fairing damage where if fell over in the driveway. Other than that I think it looks pretty clean.

Looks good. Like the high mount exhaust.

I think the price sounds reasonable. Thats about what I paid a few years back for my 98 and they dont really seem to lose any value...

    Thanks guys!

I rented a 2008 while I was in California last year and liked it quite a lot. I talked myself into a CBR and it's a great bike, but not too good to ride for more than an hour or so. So, recently I have been looking for a VFR. I found a 1991 model that looks really good not far from here with 22k on it. Then I found this 98 model and decided to go with that. :D

I put 160 miles on it on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, I dropped the bike in my garage that same morning. I learned a valuable lesson. Do not have the side stand down while taking the bike down from the center stand. It's bad medicine.

Scuffed the right side up a bit, not bad... but broke the brake lever. My new friend Tom in Clarksville helped me out with a replacement lever and windscreen so all is well. =)

I have a Sargent seat on it's way. Should be here when I get back from California. w00t!
