CandyRedRC46 has the right idea, for me, buying off ebay sight unseen was incredibly nerve wracking, but after repeated contact with the seller I was confident.

eBay Motors: Honda : Interceptor (item 330311336044 end time Mar-07-09 18:46:22 PST)

I got a killer deal! A 2003 with under 9000 miles on it, factory hardbags, factory trunk, helirisers, corbin seat, throttle locker, bar end locks, frame sliders, and 2 windscreens, in like new condition! All for the low low price of $5600. Happy hunting and good luck!

I bought my 05 ABS for $7000 w/ 15k on the clock. Had the matching honda hardbags, corbin seat, throttle meisters, and a tank bra. By the time I found it and closed the deal I'd missed 4 other VFR's. Around Oklahoma they're exceptionally tough to come by.

I was keeping an eye out for a while and happened on my baby. A 1999 5th gen with under 10k in the clock (still under 10). For $3500.00. And I LOVE her! No cats, gear driven cams, and with the new Delkevic exhaust Growls! Patience is a virtue. "like bobby b says the driver don't pick the car the car picks the driver, unless the driver has a cheap father.". LOL it will come dude, but I'm with the other guys. Why so hung up on the 6th gen, especially when your kinda limited on price. I'd love a 6 gen, but right now it's not in the cards, and I love my 5th gen.

not gonna get a clean 6th gen for 5k sorry look at 5th gen. the 6th gen new was almost 11k without tax!! you are asking more then 50% less then price of bike. sounds like your sale attempt will be foiled..and believe it or not but you are learning that vfrs hold there value thats why we all own one. I mean come on why not pay kia prices for a bentley.. noob..good luck..

(probably u did) but I just thought I'd mention it. There were a fair amount of 6'th gen's on there, but distance may be a factor of course
