Installation of Race Tech Springs and Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators for VFR700

I'm working on installing Race Tech up-rated springs and Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators into a spare set of '86 forks for my #2 '87 VFR700. Both the written instructions provided with the kit (from 2001) and the current Race Tech website have errors where the description and pictures don't agree and new holes are even shown drilled underneath the bottoming cone installation area (doesn't make sense). I called Race Tech and they admitted the instructions have errors and we discussed the modifications. Out of that conversation, I've developed the following pictorials. For those experienced with this modification, please comment if you think I have it all correct or if you disagree . . . I'd hate to make a mistake with the hole drilling in the damper rods. I'm also interested in comments for the initial tuning variables. Thanks.
