true. My friend rides a multistrada and she absolutely loves it. Her husband who rides a Duc ST2 says the multistrada may be the best riding bike he has ridden and he may buy another one for himself. He says it is just a blast to ride. They all look goo when you're sitting astride them blasting corners I think...

Ohhhhh, that big Kawasaki with the bug eyes! Ugh! But then, the onliest Kawasaki street bike I ever liked was the GPz. Suzuki makes some bu+t-ugly street bikes, too. Honda generally makes good-looking, or at least inoffensive-looking, bikes. Who can complain about the lovely Honda 305 Dream, the S-90, the CB 350, the VF and VFR, the Super Hawk, the Hornet, the CBR, the F-series, etc.? I don't dig the big Honda cruisers, but they are very functional and that usually means good engineering AND good design. The other Japanese marques try too hard, especially Suzuki, AND the new South Korean bikes!!! Yikes, they hurt the eyes!!!

Ohh, yeah, but what can you do with putting a VW engine into a bike! The Boss hoss's are pretty ugly to me as well. Same kind of plan, just with a whole lot more money involved. On the engineering side and the retail price side.

If you are talking about that pic a couple posts up, I don't think that is a BMW. Yeah there is what might be a BMW logo there, but doesn't quite look like it, although it is hard to tell. But there is no kidney grill on it like all fairly recent BMWs. And it looks like it might be a stand up twin, which until the just released F800 BMW didn't offer a stand up twin, just the iconic opposed twins and fours -- oh and the single in the F650 series. That is something else entirely....

If you are talking about the BMW cruiser of several years ago, yeah, that was ugly. Was rather weird to ride to me too, but I haven't ridden many cruisers to compare it to either.

I saw some guy running through the "Dragon" on one of those futuristic cruiser looking things last August. I've seen them on Ebay, think they are a 250cc Chinese creation; can't think of the name off the top of my head

Well spotted, it is a Tuohe Enterprise Group TE250T-3, still think it quite ugly, mind they seem to have a whole range of extrodinarily ugly little motorcycle things.

Can I nominate a whole class? Bikes like the Triumph Tiger, Suzuki V STROM etc. I know they are practical and in reality would probably really suit my riding style and bad back BUT I sure do find them UUUGGGLLLY.

that suzuki V-strom thing is hideous and boring to look at, at least the mutistrada(though ugly) looks thought-out and high-tech. whats the deal w/ the yamaha r1 and the gsxrs...potent performers they are but cheap and girlish they look...not aggresive looking at all. did i mention how cheap they look.

My opinion? The honda Rune has got to be one of the ugliest bikes ever designed. It's a behemoth. Almost 900 lbs. and over 8 feet long.
