I saw a question about how VFRworld ranks members, and thought I would add a quick post in case there are others with the same question. It's very simple:

Junior Member - New member with under 30 posts.
Member - Member who has 30+ posts.
Senior Member - Member who has 100+ posts.

Your ranking automatically improves as you participate.

Perhaps there should be a category for "Prolific" members at 1000+, "Seriously Active" at 2000+, and "Bordering on the Heroic" at 3000+...

I think after like 500 posts you should be able to declare your own rank. I will be "Slayer of Junebugs".

After hitting 500, I thought two things: 1.) It ought to stop raining 2.) I probably ought to get a life. Alas, I have accomplished only one......

I tried to curb the habit but it just gets under your skin. also, I didn't realize it at first, but pictures add to your tally so when I would do a ride report and link to pics in my gallery it would add like 10-12 to my count and I have done lots of ride reports...

For the record, I can customize these rankings, and I'm very open to feedback.

I think we need some ranks above "senior member". Maybe "prom king" or "Captain VFR"

I was wondering how I got young again :glee: No,... really, I could not figure out how a 50 year plus is labeled "junior ".

Ranking by involvement does make sense.

I know this is an old post, but since it was helpful for the new members, like myself, I thought I'd dig it up.
