    One thing that surprises me is a lot of press attended the conference for the new motorcycle shoe. Maybe they were really doing an expose on squids and the gear they wear.

    I mean, for the rest of the motorcycle apparel companies no one hardly writes an article on the newest shoes.

    If anything, this will give the podiatrists a lot of business!

    I've already ordered two pair! My feet are gonna be loving it this summer! I will admit, I was apprehensive, but once I saw the safety features such as the "Toe Bumper, Double use of backstap, and gear shift protection" I was sold. These are gonna be great protection, as well as cooling me down! Thanks for the link Dan!

    Those are gonna go great with my Carhart riding shorts, and half helmet. I just wish they'd come out with some stylish open fingered gloves.:team2:

    Why is the exhaust protection on the outside? Is that for when the leg gets crushed and dilocated under the wreck?
    And "night vision" back strap? So, like, they can see in the dark?

    But seriously I could probably make some people lots of money selling them around my area. I see so many people wearing regular flops on bikes that I'm sure I could sell them on "bike specific" sandals. Anyone want to check and see if Bata is a publicly traded company?

    The dude I sold my 600 Katana to a couple of years back showed up to pick the bike up wearing flip-flops and shorts!!!
    This was his FIRST bike!!!!
    I asked him if he wanted to borrow a pair of boots and gear for his ride home and he said it was "too hot for that"
    First ride on his first bike in sandals.......what a moron!!!

    I'm sure they'll be concentrating in mostly non-US markets... However I suspect they'll be on sale this summer in select Florida shops...

    If you REALLY wanted to make some money on these, brand them with Harley Davidson logos...
