Hahaha! She made it home without a single hiccup. I may have actually beat that gremlin .... time will tell.

I am sure she'll fill you all in soon enough.

I'm so ragged out .... normally we'd be having a few beers by the fire right now.

I'm both tired and it's finally sunk in that the trip is over, so I'm a little down about that - but we can't always do the fun stuff we want to do 100% of the time ... or can we? At least I can ride to work in the morning. Bike is filthy, but I don't care. :)

Bike may be dirty and you may be tired, BUT there's a story or two in both regards. At least it's being tired for a good reason. You should sleep well and hopefully no nightmares of VFR gremlins chasing through the curves of the Black Hills. Have a great night Jeff

Thanks - just glad we both made it home safely. :)

Sitting on the couch, I keep staring to nod off - I never did this on the trip so I'm not sure why I'm suddenly so tired?

Actually .... none of the above now that you mention it? LOL I even cracked the throttle in the driveway so that they would know I was home.

It was rather anti-climactic come to think of it. My dog was thrilled to see me as was the kids dog.

I read somewhere that if you want to find out who loves you the most, lock your wife and your dog out of the house for a couple of hours, then open the door and see which one is most pleased to see you...

    I made it home!

    Plus I'm still up.

So many people want to talk about my travels already!

Salty storms, but I was victorious and skies cleared.

    6,971 miles, 19 days

I am working on my moto...lolzzz

It's 75, no scorching sun in the sky and 1:15 am...good time to tinker.

And holy crapola...a HUMONGOUSLY HUMONGOUS HUG to anyone who did or said something that helped me continue this journey. I'm home, but won't rest.

Ride report coming and a new thread here and there about taking smaller trips as well as more time for browsing and contributing to other threads.
