It is YOUR Fault.
Was in AU for a bit over a week in 2000, mostly in Melbourne, but the last two days in Sydney.
Accompanied my wife on a vacation/business trip, and the work part of it began in Sydney. I had a day to myself, and located a motorcycle rental place.
They thought I'd want a Harley, being from "The States". No.
I spotted a nearly new 2000 VFR in the lineup. Don't think it even had 1000 KM on it yet.
Rode it all day, in Royal National Park, and south to Thirroul on the coastal road.
Hopped on the M1 and zoomed back, so I'd not be late for dinner.
The next morning I crossed the Harbour Bridge very early, and made it to Manly, and the Sydney Harbour National Park, before having to turn around and take the Honda back.
That was 16 years ago... Too long to wait for a single dream.
And this May we were back in Australia for 2 weeks.
I had no choice. As soon as I got back, I located and bought a 2000 VFR.
Seriously guys, I blame it on Australia.
2001 Blue VFR800Fi in Mudgee
Howdy all skips!!! I'm yeah! from pert perth, w.a. My 94 has done 151,000kms in the 16 years I've had it. I bought it in immaculate condition in 2000 with 22,000kms on the clock. I kept it schmick until....3 years ago it had a static drop in my garage that caused massive visual damage - tank, fairings, footpegs... but...internally it's still a great bike and I love my occasional track days at Barbagallo Raceway. It's been a great friend to me. See YA guys and girls
