I've just had Staines fitted to my '05. Not as loud as i expected with spuds out, but a nice note all the same.
With spuds in only slighty louder than stock.
Now i also just had the 1000klm(600 mile) service done so it may be coincidence, but the flat spot/surging in the 4-5000rpm range is also smoothed out.
Either way i'm happy with the pipes, they fit in well with the look of the bike and very nice ' shiney (will be PITA to keep shiny i imagine).

I ordered the Titanium Remus today and they say it should be here by Friday.. I hope it is the sound I am looking for.. Glen at sporttour says it sound like the Micron and from the sound clips I've heard I like the sound of the Microns the best..

Is your VFR post-2001? I thought that they all had undertail exhausts for the 6th generation?

Got my Remus exhaust today and WOW what a differance. Power is very noticable and the sound is GREAT.. At Idle and low speeds it sounds great.. Once you get up to speed the wind and motor dround out the exhaust sound.. But they look and sound great.. I am very pleased...

Can't wait to see them.......how about the cost? I've talked to Glen over at Sporttour in the past and I believe the cost was just under $700.00 I'm leaning more towards the Staintunes, but the're more money.

yup, just got my Remus Titanium from sporttour as well!

My package is missing a few small nuts and washers, and the DAMN INSTRUCTION MANUAL if there is one!

I found a manual online, but it'll be a while until I'm ready to install, since I've got to wait for my bike to get outta the shop on all the rest of the repairs.

I weighed the pipe and mufflers just a few hours ago. I did it on a digital body scale, so the accuracy is only within .5 lbs. But, just for the record, the mid-pipe weighs ~4.5 lbs, and each Titanium muffler weighs ~3.5 lbs. each. I think my scale is pessimestic, so lets assume thats a max weight. I think www.onewheeldrive.net tested the exhaust at 10lbs near exactly.

I'll do video and pics (including weight pics) as soon as its all buttoned up, and the bike is rolling again...

That was my second choice, they sound great but a little to loud for me, I went with the Staintunes, because it gave me a choice, A little louder than stock or wake up the neighbors loud, but still not as loud as the D&D's
