Hey guys, anyone have any thoughts about the LSL bar conversion versus the helibars? I had a 6gen with Helibars, but still felt a bit stretched over, so im a bit gunshy to get them for my new 5th gen. I had never heard of the LSL conversion before last week, and kind of like the idea. Do any of you have either for the 5th gen? for reference im 5'6, 230lbs, and 28" inseam.

    Hey Frankie

My 5th gen. came with the little underbar riser type of spacers, but they weren't enough. I wasn't sure I'd like the LSL setup either, and it has a hefty price tag. I decided to test with a "homegrown" version using a spare top triple, bolt on bar clamps, low-rise superbar, and ST1000 throttle cables. I absolutely love the configuration. My setup actually feels so good that when I started looking for an LSL supplier, I still couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger because of the price tag. I don't mind that mine looks a bit "industrial".

You do want longer clutch, and brake lines to do the job "right". I converted to braided SS in front only and it really helped brake feel. I HIGHLY recommend that front brake line upgrade.

Here's mine, before I got the bar ends on and sorted out some cable routing.
    Also running ST1100 throttle cables.

I didn't want to drill my original triple, so I did the double up thing. That's clean looking jfram. The silver risers look almost factory.

Is that the complete kit, including the fork tube clamps? Or is it just the bar, and the riser blocks?

I'd imagine it's a complete kit, bar ends not included but you can order whatever colour bar ends you want on the site.
