Thats a nice bike you got there. Wouldn't be too disappointed the other one was gone.

I'd rather have the '91, especially if it's as nice as it looks in the pics!

I suspect the reason we see so few of those very high mount exhausts is that they would preclude the addition of side cases.

Oh, Honda...why didn't you keep the underseat exhaust on the 8th gen? I'd have caved and bought one at this point if you had.

Those look like tech spec brand, not sure if custom cut or model specific but they are easy to cut if you just get generic pack. I like them as they are low profile and you can choose the thickness and pattern.

All of the other gen high mounts retained passenger pegs, that is why I am wondering why no one offers high mount specific to this model. That looks great, but again it is adapted from another model so it does not retain the right passenger hanger.

Quickshifter not standard on the Deluxe, optional extra. Mine came with bike 'cause it was slightly used.

SlfAwre stated on his post that that exhaust came with its own passenger pegs, but he didn't want/need passenger pegs...

I know right, not quite a high mount, maybe a 3/4ths mount or mid mount. Seemed like a fail for staintune, that they are no longer offering. My guess is that staintune realized this and they are fixing it right now.

Honestly, if I had an 8th gen, I would just buy a new carbon fiber Two Brothers and try to mount it, sans the dummy can. I am sure it would be very close and if it didn't quite fit, it probably would only need slight modifications to work as a proper high mount.

Well damn, while on the subject on exhaust, these threads do this to me, SMH, I'll ask, doesn't the 8th gen have two 02s ? I went to the dealer here that had one, nope it sold , the two dealers just north are out as well. though was I might as well while at it see if the header I have in the works will fit the 8th gen. It seems to use the same block, front Rad may be a new move, but hey all is good, while at it for the 6th gen mid pipe option might just add an 8th gen version for a high mount? ;) IDK, We'll see how the proto type works out first, before I start counting eggs.

There is a guy on here that is trying to put an 8th gen header on his fifth gen... Maybe he could help clear this up a bit.
