    I just want a KTM RC-8. Is that so Wrooooong? orrrrr the RC4 that is supposedly coming soon, cept I heard thats a 1 banger. but still 70-80 hp from one cylinder? nuts.

    That was exactly what I wanted. Interesting ideas all the way around - this is the other part of MotoGP - the prototype bikes and all the engineering - that just is not covered well in the press I find easy access to. It is there, but not like other stuff.

    Perfect example is when Jeff Gordon drove behind the fence at Daytona last week and predicted others would have similar problems with their front suspension... no one did. What did his crew chief do and why?

    I guess the engineering is too hard for some folks to get, they'd rather just see the tire marks on the side of the car?

    The closest I get is a Cycle World columnist

    Matt Oxley does a nice job of reviewing the techincal aspects for Roadracing World. Chris Jonnum also does a nice job sometimes in his weekly column at RoadRacerX.com - it's called RoadRacer Head.

    Although I don't follow NASCAR, I do know that they explained what happened to Gordo's car...........
