I have a car I removed from one of my units I plan to put on the market. Yesterday I transferred the title in my name and got it insured and registered. I will be bringing it to my house to sit on the driveway with a cover on it. It's in almost perfect condition and I hate to sell it but I really have to start freeing up space.

The car and the space it will free up.

Meanwhile I am going to vacate two other units (a 10x30 and a 10x20) and consolidate into this one....a 15x15. It will save me about $275/month.

Here is mine. second floor of my Garage 26'x40' . I built it into a hill so I can ride around the back to get in and out. Pic taken just after it was built so its a bit of a landscape mess in this pic

I will say im down to 15 bikes now and don't intend to go beyond that, if one comes in one has to go out. last year I hit 22 and that was a bit mad

I never put it together that it was the second floor. I always thought it was a separate metal building on the property. I've seen pics of a Camaro being unloaded in front.

    So cool.

    VERY nice, Mr. Stray!

See - I need to do something so I can have all my bikes here at my home too.

You know, I never envisioned I would have all these bikes and as such didn't have a storage plan. But I am working on one now.

If I could get down to only 15 bikes......that would certainly help! :D

OK 2 weeks later today was the day to do the musical chairs thing....lol. The worst part is none the 6 motorcycles I had to move are operational so had to roll from their old to their new unit. I think I had a caliper dragging on one of them too...lol....no fun! I got everything moved except for one bike (an RC15) and the Taurus. I have until the 1st to get them moved so easy peasey.

This new 15x15 worked out great too. I also have 8 bicycles in there so finding a home for those wouldn't hurt. All different kinds of condition. Couple are nice Trek carbon fiber road bikes.

How long will it take you to use that decade worth of tires? :)

Ha! I know - looks like a lot but earlier this year I got on a kick to grab a bunch when Bridgestone was running their rebate program. Some are also the Kendas we've discussed here.

One of my biggest concerns at higher speed is the tires not performing as safely as they should. And with so many bikes I have purchased the past 2 years - most with older tires - I figured I really needed to get a replacement plan together plus unsure about prices going up so thought I'd get them while I could before any price hikes.

Don't laugh but I actually am going to start selling some of my bikes off next year and would like those to have new tires on them - along with everything working as it should on the bike itself - and a hopefully a proper set of fairings in decent nick, to boot.

Adding to all this - I now know how to replace the tires myself! In fact I just purchased a nifty little tool that breaks the tire beads for me very efficiently. I will be posting something on that this coming week in the Random Photos thread.

Behold - my redneck bead breaker! I have had a decent run just using a garden spade (place spade on tyre near rim, and jump on) but the T32s from my ST1300 put up a lot of resistance.
