It's a defense, leaving the issuing officer to answer the question. Traffic court magistrates are many times pro-tem and are lawyers making a few pesos for themselves or looking for the next step up the ladder.

Some US lawyers specialize in tickets/citations. A few back Microsoft had one of these types on retainer. Some of the kids that are computer whizzes make bit pesos and buy fast toys. Bill Gates wants them at work not in court..

"...he bought a Porsche 911 and used to race it in the desert; Paul Allen had to bail him out of jail after one midnight escapade. He got three speeding tickets—two from the same cop who was trailing him—just on the drive from Albuquerque the weekend he moved Microsoft to Seattle."

I just did what I should have done a year ago. My new radar mount and Escort 9500ix will be here is less than a week. At 61 y/o I can afford the ticket and the points. It just pisses me off that I got busted. Still a good thing I didn't get busted two days earlier on the Deckers road. I may still be in jail.

Not sure what you will be using to hear the audio signals and not sure if your RD has Bluetooth built in but both my friend and I use the Scala Rider Packtalk units with a Bluetooth transmitter plugged into the RD's audio jack.

Most new rider to rider communication devices will allow similtaneous communication with a rider and at least one audio device. This is how we were able to speak to one another and for my friend to still hear the RD warning signal. Normally I have my unit on as well but I don't have RD mounts on my Duc, which is the bike I was riding that day.

Good luck on your future rides!

If yah run a bird dog on your scooter, your gona have to run an ear phone to your brain bucket. I ran my valentine for years and maybe 70,000 miles velcrod to my chase harper tank bag. Shameless plugs, moving to south FL with all the rain and in general fast chit drivers, i hung up both years ago. I did get it upgraded for my trip to Texas though, took my Glock too :rambo: Peace

Some come with earphones that are aboot the size of a 5000 peso coin. An LED wired into the earphone jack and attached to the inside of the windscreen with a suction cup works.

Same deal on my RD. Velcroed to the tank bag. IN some places they are not legal and unless the local law does illegal search and seizures for illicit electronics. Stuffin it into the tank bag only takes a few seconds.
