Sorry to say I sold my 2012 VFR but the good news for me is that it went to a good friend so I can still ride it whenever I want to. Thanks to all the good people here who followed and commented on my journey to get the ECU re-flash done by Don Guhl. I like development work and am on to working on my 2016 Triumph Thruxton R. A great bike with a dry weight of 448 pounds and a lot of potential. I will still be hanging around to see what is happening in the VFR world.

Love the looks of the Thruxton R, light weight, potential for more performance.

Hers is a picture of the Triumph 1200 Thruxton R I bought in January. Brembo discs & Brembo monobloc calipers, Ohlins rear shocks, Showa big piston forks, Pirelli Diablo Rossi tires, 448 pounds dry.

Hi John, I hope all is well. I wanted to know what your experience is with your 1200R? I have been keeping my eye on this bike for quite some time. I currently own a VFR 800. But really appreciate the look the styling of the 1200R. Could you give me your opinion thus far about the bike and any suggestions on mods or any other info before purchasing?
    Thanks for your time.

    Anthony
